What are your Covid-19 policies?

We recommend masks upon entry and throughout your experience but not required. After each group we sanitize stations and axes to ensure a clean environment for all to enjoy.

How old do you have to be to throw?

You must be at least 8 years old with a parent or legal guardian in order to participate. However, we do have a Kid’s zone where those under 8 are able to throw at our plastic targets at no charge.

What forms of payments are accepted?

We are a cashless facility (no cash). We accept all major credit cards and Apple/Google Pay.

Is it safe/family friendly?

Yes! You are provided a trained coach that goes over safety, technique, and will remain with you throughout your experience. We also have a kid’s zone for those under 8 years old and a spectator’s lounge.

What should I wear and bring?

You will need to have a valid government I.D in order to authenticate your waiver and closed-toed shoes. Shoe rentals and a fresh pair of socks are available for $6.

Is tipping coaches required?

We do not require tips but they are very much appreciated by our friendly staff.

Do you have to pay just to watch?

No! We don’t have a spectator fee. All are welcome to watch and be a part of the fun!

Can I bring my own axe or throwing knives?

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own axe and are not permitted to throw knives or throwing stars at this time.

Do you serve alcohol?

Yes! We serve a variety of beer and wine onsite.

Are outside food or drinks allowed?

Food and drinks purchased inside of Dezerland Park are allowed inside our venue. Outside food catering and birthday cakes are also allowed. Please let us know in advance so our team can coordinate with your party. Drinks will need to be purchased at Axecelsior.
